Full Time Landscape Manager

The Landscape Manager is responsible for managing the landscaping process within the parks, to include horticulture, plant material procurement, plant productions, arboriculture maintenance, turf and shrub maintenance, new landscape installations, all irrigation systems maintenance and repairs, all landscape equipment / facilities maintenance and repairs, and ensuring quality landscaping presentation for the parks.

Primary duties and responsibilities:

• Monitor Landscape operation maintenance and repairs
• Order landscape plant materials
• Monitor budget
• Oversee greenhouse operations
• Design landscaping beds and processes
• Ensure all mandated inspections are completed
• Perform park maintenance duty

Candidates with the following qualifications will be considered:

• High School Diploma / GED
• College education in Horticulture or directly related field, or equivalent work experience
• At least eight years of landscaping maintenance supervisory experience with large work groups (20+ employees)
• Understanding of high profile landscaping operation, plant material, turf, arboriculture, irrigation, and greenhouse maintenance
• Ability to establish and monitor landscaping budgets to achieve quality product while maintaining costs
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, proven ability to develop employees, and ability to motivate diverse work groups required
