Promote excellent guest interaction at all times, provide guests with information regarding the nature of their respective ride as needed. Safely and efficiently operate the rides.

Requirements and Competencies

• Some ride experience
• Good Communication skills
• Be exposed to fumes, dust, and/or odor
• Be exposed to loud noises
• Be exposed to motion
• Be exposed to vibrations
• Wear protective gear when required
• Work from heights
• Work in cold temperature extremes
• Work in hot temperature extremes
• Work indoors with air conditioning
• Work indoors with no air conditioning
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Work outdoors in shaded areas
• Work with chemicals

• Safely operate the rides, always remaining attentive and be prepared for emergency situations which might arise.
• Maintain a friendly, courteous attitude toward guests and give assistance whenever possible.
• Enforce all safety, park and department policies at all times and consistently demonstrate excellent guest interaction and "hospitality" skills at all times.
• At different times, will assist in evacuation of ride, This may require climbing.
• Assist guests on/off the rides, depending on locations, could be picking up children and helping adults from units.
• Physically pulling up on safety restraints to ensure they are locked properly.
• Give safety spiel before and after each cycle or during cycle if a situation dictates.
